RIBA Chartered Practice:
To become an RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Chartered Practice, architect practices need to comply with strict criteria in an accreditation scheme that gives you, the client, a mark of quality. So by choosing a RIBA Chartered Practice you can expect a certain level of excellence in design and service.
The scheme has been developed by RIBA following client and government feedback. It ensures that all accredited members work to a common set of standards and have in place:

Chartered Society of Designers:
The Chartered Society of Designers (CSD) is the international professional body for designers. The CSD is governed by Royal Charter and as such its members are obliged to practice to the highest professional standards. The Society is not a trade body or association and membership is only awarded to qualified designers who must prove their professional capability during an admission assessment. If a designer has MCSD™ or FCSD™ after their name you can be assured of a professional service.
Chartered Institute of Building:
CIOB members are amongst the most highly regarded professionals working throughout the international construction industry. Our membership represents a wide diversity of roles within the construction industry and promotes the delivery of high work standards and values. CIOB members are drawn from a wide range of professional disciplines working within building and construction supply chains. The membership includes clients, consultants and contractors as well specialists in regulation, research and education. This provides a pool of specialist knowledge which informs the way in which the industry develops.
TRADA — the Timber Research & Development Association:
TRADA professional membership gives fast access to authoritative help and information on how to harness the full potential of nature´s greatest building material — timber. It is only open to professional businesses that are involved in the design or specification of timber and wood-based products.
Constructionline:
Constructionline is the UK's register of pre-qualified local and national construction and construction-related contractors and consultants. Owned and endorsed by the Department for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform (formerly the DTI), Constructionline is a contributor to the Rethinking Construction initiative.
An excellent local brass band available for concerts, church fetes, garden parties and carnivals etc in the Sheffield area. Originally established in 1889 and still going strong today with an incomparable tradition for playing regional songs and tunes during the Christmas period.
