About AC Liani
A C Liani Limited is an amalgamation of two very experienced architectural and design talents, originally formed in 1970 and 1988 respectively; A C Liani was incorporated in the summer of 2003.
The joint experience of the Directors spans over sixty years and between them covers all areas of architectural services; comprising qualified Architectural, Interior Design and Technical assistance together with all manner of support initiatives providing drafting, topographic and measured building surveys etc. All members of the architectural and design team pride themselves in the specification of ergonomically designed, practical and economic buildings.

Stuart Young BA (Hons), FCSD, ICIOB: Design Director
After graduating from Nottingham with an Honours degree in Interior Design, Stuart spent a brief period as the designer with a furniture/shop-fitting company where he learnt, 'hands on', the procedures and materials required in furniture construction and refurbishment projects. He then joined an architectural practice where he demonstrated an increasing awareness of client requirements in many aspects of the interior and architectural field.
Stuart was then asked to join the 'in house' design team of Whitbread plc where for a little over thirteen years he was instrumental in the development and advancement of the interior and architectural design, logistical expansion and brand evolution of this leisure industry leader and many of its associates.
Within A C Liani, Stuart´s role currently encompasses a wide range of activities right across the full scope of the company´s design and architectural operations. Stuart has substantial experience of a wide variety of leisure projects for individual entrepreneurs and corporate clients alike, as well as medium and large-scale residential projects, industrial, commercial and retail premises.

Steve qualified as an Architect in 1973 and spent 14 years with Sheffield City Council's Architects department, followed by three years as Regional Architect for Whitbread plc at their Sheffield office.
After leaving Whitbread Steve formed his own company to specifically support users of a specialist CAD system, but always with the intention to take on other 'architectural' work. A large percentage of the work was initially building and topographical surveys, mostly for the Nat West Bank. Many buildings were modelled in 3D. Whitbread plc became a client in 1995 and they were asked to provide a CAD service to assist in the standardisation of their Premier Inn and restaurant estate.
